At times its harder to stay - but it's the most rewarding "waiting" you will ever do!!!
I suffered in silence for decades. It was its own kind of slow erosion—where even moments of joy were shadowed by the knowing that a darkness could return at any time. A black hole, always nearby. Sometimes it would take me for days. I lived in quiet fear of that drop, that heaviness, that feeling I couldn’t always name but knew too well.
Until one day, something shifted.
I said, “No more. I can’t live like this.”
Not because I knew how to heal—but because I was finally willing to try everything. To face it. To understand it. To see if it could actually be released.
It took time. Longer than I wanted. And in many ways, it took longer because I was afraid to tell anyone. I carried it alone, thinking that was safer.
But healing came.
And when I realized—truly realized—that it was no longer there in the same way… that something fundamental had changed… I made a different choice.
I chose to speak.
What was once my deepest secret became my purpose. I shared my story, and in doing so, doors opened—two publishing deals, a 6-week program, and now offerings through Mago Online, with in-person retreats on the horizon. Not because I had it all figured out—but because I knew what it meant to feel trapped, and what it meant to find a way through.
It’s strange, isn’t it?
The thing that once felt like it might take me down… became the very thing that gave my life direction. Funny? Not funny? Maybe both. But undeniably true.
And now, if you are in that place—if you are carrying something heavy, quietly, bravely—I want you to know:
I see you. I understand more than you may ever say out loud.
And if you can’t stand right now, I will stand with you.
We can heal this—together.
So much love. Gina (reach out if you need a friend)
