Welcome to Rethink Vitality

Hi everyone — I’m Jen.

Starting March 18th! Rethink Vitality.

I want to personally welcome you to Rethink Vitality — our signature series from Mission Save a Life. I’m really glad you’re here.

In this series we’ll share research you can understand, stories that make it real, and practical tools you can use right away. You’ll also hear live interviews with the facilitators behind our LIFE™ Groups, so you can find what fits you when you’re ready.

A bit about me, before I ever started sharing this work, I needed it.

Years ago, I was leading at a high level professionally — managing teams, building partnerships, pushing forward. On paper, I was successful. In reality, I was running on chronic stress.

Burnout didn’t show up as one dramatic moment.
It showed up as constant mental noise. Migraines. Reactivity. Exhaustion that sleep didn’t fix (when I slept). A disconnection I couldn’t quite name.

Eventually, my body made me slow down.

That season changed me.

I started learning what was happening beneath the surface — how chronic stress impacts the nervous system, how disconnection drains vitality, and how small daily practices can restore steadiness. The more I learned, the more I realized: a lot of what we call “mental health” is also a vitality problem — mind, body, and heart out of sync.

Then life hit in a different way.

My son’s best friend died by suicide.
And in that same month, four more young people in our community died too.

It was devastating — and it made something very clear:

We cannot wait for crisis to intervene.
We have to move upstream.
We have to strengthen vitality before breaking points.

That’s why Mission Save a Life was born — not as a crisis organization, but as a prevention-oriented movement focused on rethinking well-being through the mind–body–heart connection.

Rethink Vitality is where we begin.

You don’t have to be in crisis to be here.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just have to be willing to notice what’s been normalized — and start choosing what restores you.

I’m honored you’re here.

Let’s rethink vitality — and build something better, together.
