Real Talks on Battling Depression
Chance encounter or divine intervention? How an individual I met at 4 AM in the airport has used his personal battle with abuse and suicide to change his life and the lives of others.
The Healing Power of Community: Conversations to Reduce Stigma (youtube.com)
Ever since our community was struck by the unimaginable (a suicide cluster) I spend time every day praying for, meditating on, and visualizing both pain and grief, left as these young individuals in our community left our lives, and the hope and opportunity to build a community to drive awareness, education and action to champion mental health and reduce suicide rates.
Because I can't and don't know how to do it alone, one thing I ask for during this time is to put the people in my life that can be a piece to the puzzle to bring this vision to life. That is how I met Michael Cox in the airport and #Constantin Morun | Unleash Thyself at work and how the 3 of us came to record this podcast in support of Mission Save a Life
I could not agree more with Michael's words that sum this up... The more open you are, the more you will receive, the more you receive the more you will understand, the more you understand the more your purpose becomes clear - to love yourself, to love God, and to love the world around you.
I encourage anyone who believes their story does not matter and that they are alone to listen and to watch this podcast.
