I am the author of this book. Why did I write it?
My journey to transformation started when I realized my life was passing me by, on a path that was not my own, and what was left was a stressed, overwhelmed, and unhealthy individual that was quick to snap. Even through professionally I was extremely successful and personally I was trying to be the best mom I could, I felt swamped by everything life threw at me—work, family, and endless to-dos. I was also stuck in the belief that I had to figure everything out on my own.
"Caught in the Act" is a result of my personal transformation. I wrote this book to share my path from feeling overwhelmed to finding clarity and the strength to choose my own direction. It's about how I learned to caught myself in the act of automatic thoughts, actions, and beliefs that were not really chosen by me but had taken hold of my life anyway.
This book is for anyone feeling stuck or lost, looking for a way to break free from old patterns and embrace a new way of thinking and living. In this book, I share the lessons I've learned, the moments of realization, and the steps I took towards a more intentional and fulfilling life. It's about becoming aware of our habits, making conscious choices, and changing our lives for the better.
Join me in discovering how powerful it can be to catch yourself in the act of living without awareness, and how transforming it can be to start choosing your path consciously.
But don’t just take my word for it!
"To sum up this book - it's transformative! I don't use that word lightly. The tools, references and positive reinforcement consistently emphasize that you already have what you need inside you. The difference is catching yourself ‘in the act’; to stop, restructure, and transform. From the first chapter, I've been re-thinking my thoughts, acts, and beliefs - to ensure I'm in alignment with who I choose to be. I'm amazed at the ease in which this can be done and how immediately I realized the effect!“ Louise McEvoy, Cyber Executive, High-Altitude Mountaineer
