About Me Biography
I am a professional, husband, and father who spent many years believing I was functioning “well enough” while quietly questioning whether I was truly showing up as my best self. Long before I stopped drinking, I identified as sober curious—wondering what alcohol was adding to my life and what it might be taking away. During the pandemic, those questions became unavoidable as stress, isolation, and routine drinking slowly shifted from occasional to habitual. Although I continued to succeed at work and support my family, I realized I was living at a fraction of my potential.
In January 2023, I made the decision to remove alcohol from my life. What followed was not only sobriety, but an intense period of reflection, honesty, and growth. The early months were challenging and often lonely, requiring me to face stress, emotions, and self-doubt without numbing or avoidance. Over time, that clarity transformed my relationships, strengthened my marriage, deepened my connection with my children, and brought renewed purpose to my professional life.
Today, I live and work with intention. I co-run a successful wedding and corporate events business with my wife, and I continue my career at Microsoft with a renewed sense of focus and momentum. I share my story not to persuade others, but to let others know they are not alone. My hope is to help create spaces where people can explore sobriety, mental health, and purpose with courage, confidentiality, and compassion—and discover what becomes possible when we bring our full selves into the light.
